Two weeks after Apple release the 2.0.1 update for the Apple TV, the company has released yet another update. And just like the 2.0.1 update, nobody knows exactly what this update is for. Some members of the MacRumors forums have reported that the user interface is much smoother now. Other than that, there are no obvious changes. If you think you know why Apple released this update, please shed some light. Trackback(0)

When I upgraded and saw genres I was very happy. In my opinion, this is one of those simple upgrades that makes the interface much better.
For me, 2.0.2 fixed the issue I had in viewing Genres under My Movies, where it would freeze for 10-15secs each time I selected a new genre
We covered this on TheMNT, but we suspect not only GUI improvements, but our ?TVs running quite a bit cooler...

Many people, including myself, have discovered that the 802.11n dropout bug (where it wouldn't stay connected if your wireless was transmitting at 5Ghz with wide channels) is now fixed. I've been running 802.11n at 5Ghz with wide channels since the day of this update with nary a single dropout.
I can agree with Jarom about the wireless bug being fixed. I hope they keep up the improvements to the little guy.

I'll still pass on the update anyway...
