You heard about the XVid hack for the Apple TV. But that requires you to take the hard drive out and install an XVid codec on it. How about being able to do that without even hacking?
Enter Videora Apple TV Video Converter . Like many of the converters available in our Downloads section. It allows you to convert video files from all kinds of formats to Apple TV's MPEG-4 format. This article from AppScout demonstrates how you can do just that.

Today, when we were about to add a module to display our new members, we discovered one thing: NONE of our members had a picture associated to the profile! Yikes.
OK, here's what you do. Once you're logged in, there will be a new menu on the right called "User Menu". Click on "Profile" and here you can either upload your own picture or choose from one of our existing (lame) icons. The picture associated with your profile (avatar) is used to be displayed along side your forum submissions, comments, news submissions (coming soon), etc.
So, please, if you haven't done so, update your picture so we can proudly display it to the world.
Thank you.

Not only are we adding a gallery section, we are working hard to add music from various bands to our Download section too. Yeah, you can hack the thing all you want but if you have no content then what's the point?
The first band that allows us to host their songs is Hooray For Earth (Hooray!), a band from Boston, whose music is hard to categorized. We think the excerpt from their myspace page sums it pretty well:
"Hailing from Boston, Hooray For Earth is a band that plays a style of rock music that has yet to be categorized. Their music is rock, to be sure, but bizzare, cacophonous, and layered with a blend of video game-like synths and heavy guitars-- sort of like Enya and Nirvana breaking things at a video arcade in hell."
Their music will be hosted in the Music Download section under Download. Unfortunately, we are still working on that. So you can go ahead and download their songs here for now:
