Hi Guys. I've just updated my Airport Extreme to provide a 5GHz 'n' only wireless link to my Apple TV in the hope that this will make synching of Apple TV Take 2.02 much faster. I haven't seen much improvement, and I've seen other threads discussing the 'voodoo' of wireless networking.

I have a very large iTunes library so I can see that it'll take some time to synchronize. 'Take 2' synchronizes each and every time the machine is switched on. Sometimes it re-syncs while we're using it. I appreciate that this is supposed to be a background feature that overcomes the HD limitations of the Apple TV. (I was a 40 gig early adopter!)

My main problem here is that the menus become unresponsive at worst, sluggish at best when this sync is happening. I have to switch the Apple TV on say half an hour to an hour before I want to use it.

Anyone else suffer this sluggishness, and if so, is there a cure?
